Product Description
PVC (polyvinylchloride) is one of the most commonly used polymers used in the film industry. It is most commonly known for being versatile and cost-efficient with strong inter-molecular interactions.
Blown PVC is produced through an extrusion process that requires the plastic film to go through a circular die where it then expands, similar to that of a bubble.
This manufcaturing process has many advantages including being able to produce tubing in a single operation, more control and regulation, and cleaner end results. These advantages make this plastic film substrate most appropriate for the Packaging and Food and Beverage industries.
